BGMI 4.2 New Update Change logs and Expected launch Date

Classic Mode Updates

Pull Doors Open: You can now pull doors open towards you.

Cut Away Parachute: Added an option to cut away the parachute when nearing landing.

4x Scope Crosshair Switching: The 4x scope crosshair switch feature now only applies to the current weapon.

Prone Improvements: You now remain in ADS mode when moving slowly while prone. Improved turning while prone to prevent getting blocked by walls.

Gyroscope: Added a dedicated throwables toggle for the gyroscope.


New Themed Mode: Primewood Genesis

Map Areas

Corrupted City:

• Several major urban areas on the map have new buildings, and their appearance and environment have changed due to the influence of the Sacred Tree.

The cities are also filled with various corrupted plants. surrounded by vision-impairing corrupting fog and twisting corruption vines.

→ Some areas are inaccessible due to being blocked by tree roots. Purifying the corresponding areas will cause the tree roots to wither, at which point you can enter and explore normally.

Corruption Plant Zone:

• Corruption areas with high concentrations of ominous energy will be marked on the map. This energy has condensed into sinister flowers that seek to corrupt and destroy the land.

• Destroy the corrupting plants in the Corruption Plant Zone to help the Sacred Tree purify the land. After destroying all the corrupting plants, the Sacred Tree will grant supplies.

Themed Vehicle

Sacred Deer:

→ A sacred deer with plant features that can be ridden by two players.

• Flowers and foliage bloom beneath the deer's hooves, leaving a trail of green in its wake.

Bramblewood Scorpion:

→ A giant scorpion with plant features that can be summoned with the Bramble Horn.

The Bramblewood Scorpion is a two-seater vehicle with the following skills:

Burrow - The scorpion burrows underground for rapid movement. In this state, the rider cannot be attacked. Burrowing has its own energy bar, and the scorpion will resurface when it runs out of energy or its tail is damaged by enemies.

Spike Bomb - The scorpion fires spike bombs at a target.

dealing AoE damage and slowing enemies in the area.

Pincer Strike - The scorpion swings its pincers, dealing melee damage to enemies in front of it.

Launch Slide - A passenger skill that can be triggered when riding the scorpion. Once triggered, the player will be ejected from the scorpion and briefly slide on the ground for quick movement.

During the slide, you can jump at any time to interrupt the slide.


Themed Items

Florawings:

When equipping the Florawings, the backpack item slot will show its equipped status, and your character's back will gain floral wings.

When equipped, skill buttons will appear on the right side of the screen (including Dash/Low-Altitude Flight/High-Altitude Flight/Flash): After tapping them, use the joystick and swipe the screen to control your direction and orientation. Flash triggers a pollen flash at your landing spot that disrupts all players. Enemies are briefly blinded, and the effect is halved on allies.

• While the wings are in use, an energy/duration bar will be displayed at the top of the screen showing real-time consumption during flight and flashes. You will automatically land when the energy runs out or after some time.

Flight can be interrupted by strong attacks or environmental restrictions (e.g., indoors or low ceilings).

Vine Manipulation:

Equip to gain the constrict skill.

Launch vines that constrict at a target location while forming a shield around you. While the skill is active, use the wheel on the left of the screen to control the vines and find enemies. If they make contact with an enemy, they will be wrapped up by the vines. Restricted enemies can mash a button to break free.

Vines being controlled by the player have a health bar, and when depleted, will end the skill.
